Part 1 Acclimatization and high alpine trekking

- 4 days of acclimatization in the Cordillera Blanca and Negra
- Day hikes from the valley with overnight stay in a B&B hotel
- 11 days trekking in the Cordillera Huayhuasch at altitudes between 4,000 and 5,000m
- Walking in mostly rough, partly glaciated terrain with a day pack
- Sleeping in tents in groups of two during the trek with full board
